Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough...

Give the world the best you have anyway.

Excellent pic. Thanks.

Known Stranger,

Happiness is never the end. Its a journey. Its derived in every of your action. Else, you wouldnt do it. You do something in expectation of happiness, it doesnt give you happiness, you just keep doing, and happiness follows you.

i differ from you, dina on happiness. it is a mirage and an addiction. Happiness is somthing that is non descriptive. yet it cant be ever achieved , it seems to follow but we run towards it. it is a mirage that it follows, i believe in content. not happiness.

Known Stranger,

Thats exactly what i said, dont try to run towards happiness, u will never reach it, u just keep doing your things, and happiness always follows you. Something like your shadow, though u can see it following you always, you can never grab it.

EATING POETRY said...

I love the picture, it's adorable!

I'm so glad you posted this, it's from one of my favorite poems which is attributed to Mother Teresa. It's called the Final Analysis and it is posted on the wall at Mother Teresa's orphanage for children in Calcutta.

Here's the rest of it:

People are often unreasonable, illogical,
and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
it is all between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
